Baseball's only hope for reform is Sarah Palin in the White House
Selig, Reinsdorf, Mitchell and their cronies have had decades to accrue back room deals protecting baseball's 1922 anti-trust exemption. The only person on the scene who is not so entwined and corrupt is Sarah Palin. I see her election as the only hope for baseball reform in my lifetime. As her husband, Todd, says:
- ""When my wife starts talking about reform, corruption and making government work for the American people,
- it's best to move out of the way.""
